Alcohol Sales in Sandy Springs Start November 11 but Not in Atlanta

Sandy Springs and Woodstock will start Sunday alcohol sales as early as 12:30 PM on Sunday November 20th but it will take a while longer in Atlanta. The Atlanta City Council passed an ordinance saying that sales will not go into effect until January 1, 2012.

Although I applaud Georgia taking another tentative step in the 21st century by casting aside an archaic and pointless rule, I am a little worried about the initial spike in NFL gameday drinking we will see. I am also curious as to what the economic impact will be on bars as they were formerly the only place you could get alcohol on Sundays. Will we see a significant dropoff in business for sports bars in Atlanta?

It is very important to keep a written account of all conversations with Insurance agents and any one else that has been involved with the claim process
